Jamie Carleton
Jamie’s love of horses began at the age of 3 and never stopped. This led her to pursue a career in the equine industry, focusing on the English disciplines of eventing and dressage. She owns and operates JC Eventing in North Haven, CT, where she offers boarding, lessons, and training.
Jamie’s initial interest in equine massage and saddle fitting first came about when she thought they would be nice extra services to be able to provide to her boarding and training clients. As she started to see just how much of a difference it made in the horses, this interest quickly turned into a fascination.
Admittedly a skeptic about most non-traditional therapies, the more Jamie researched about other modalities, the more she realized the data backed results that can be seen with these methods. This encouraged her to pursue a number of certifications: equine sports massage therapy, PEMF therapy, equine kinesiology taping, red light therapy, equine cupping and muscle blading, and she is just finishing up her Certified Equine Ergonomist (saddle fitting) certification.
Beyond hands-on work, Jamie is dedicated to educating clients about how they can help their horses feel their best. Jamie believes that informed horse owners can make the best decisions for their equine partners, and strives to empower clients with knowledge to support their horses’ health and well-being.
Whether working with top-level performance horses or cherished companions, Jamie ensures each horse receives the care, attention, and expertise it deserves.
